Studio City is one of 24 communities in the San Fernando Valley, which make up part of Los Angeles County. Only 15 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, world famous Studio City is nestled in the foothills of the north slope of the Santa Monica Mountains, providing easy access to Hollywood, Downtown, the Valley and Beverly Hills.
Studio City received its name as a result of the filming activities of Mack Sennett during the silent film era in the 1920’s. Some areas of interest would include: CBS/Radford Studios, The Sportsman's Lodge, Wild Acre Park, Tujunga Village and the Ventura BLVD shopping district.
